Non-Weight-Bearing Movement in our Heated Pool
Total Body Engagement: Our heated hydrotherapy pool provides a completely non-weight-bearing environment. Swimming engages both axial and appendicular muscles, promoting symmetrical activation and improved cardiorespiratory fitness.
Safe & Supported Sessions: We provide flotation aids and harnesses to ensure correct body positioning. Our above-ground pool features ramps and decks so handlers and therapists stay close at all times.
Hygienic Water: We use Bromine and Ozone sanitisation to keep the water safe and gentle on your dog’s skin and coat.
Clinical Suitability: While swimming is excellent for fitness, it isn’t right for every injury. Every dog at our centre undergoes an assessment to determine if pool therapy or the underwater treadmill is the best fit for their specific condition.
